昨天写了篇有关想家的日志,其实最近正痴迷于一首叫500 MILES的同样的一首写离家之绪的歌。
If you miss the train l’m on, You will know that l am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
A hundred miles ,a hundred miles
A hundred miles ,a hundred miles
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
Lord l’m one Lord l’m two Lord l’m three Lord l’m four
Lord l’m five hundred miles from my door
Five hundred miles ,Five hundred miles
Five hundred miles,Five hundred miles
Lord l’m five hundred miles from my door
Not a shirt on my back
Not a penny to my name
Lord l can’t go a-home this a-way
This a-way, this a-way
This a-way, this a-way
Lord, I can’t go a-home this a-way
lf you miss the train l’m on,You will know that l am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today…
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…
列侬这时已脱去年轻时活泼的楞劲,心里想的东西更加深沉,当他唱出Imagine all the people,Living life in peace这句时,我能通透地感受到他的悲悯,特别是配合他略显沙哑的嗓音,甚至就像沐浴在一瀑纯真圣洁的阳光之中,阳光顶上便立着那位垂眼人间的无限慈悲的神。
最后一首是一支更老的歌,Eric Clapton的Tears In Heaven,他如今已是个老男人,这是一首写给他的逝去的儿子的,虽然词句简单,却令人震撼地感觉到字情字景。
Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
would it be the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong, and carry on
‘Cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven
Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven?
I’ll find my way, through night and day
‘Cause I know I just can’t stay here in heaven
Time can bring you down; time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart. Have you begging please? begging please?
Beyond the door there’s peace I’m sure.
And I know there’ll be no more tears in heaven
Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven
would it be the same if I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
‘Cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven
‘Cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven
